Best Practices
Both the American Bar Association and The National Association of Counsel For Children have adopted standards of practice for lawyers who represent children in abuse and neglect cases. Although Washington State has not adopted its own standards,The ABA, NACC and ABA (NACC revised version)standards are included here to give the attorneys in WA state who represent children and youth in dependency cases standards to strive for in their practice.
