Juvenile Mental Health
In-patient Treatment
To access in-patient mental health treatment in Washington, children must go through "CLIP" - Children's Long Term In-patient Programs. CLIP manages 96 residential treatment beds in Washington state - 47 of which are at Child Study & Treatment Center at Western State Hospital. Children are referred to CLIP through Regional Support Networks (RSN's) which contract with the Mental Health Division to administer all public mental health services within their region (WAC 388-865-0200).

Outpatient Mental Health Services - Regional Support Networks (RSNs)
Public outpatient mental health resources for juveniles are administered by Regional Support Networks. Each county is part of an RSN in Washington. Contact information for resource managers at each of the 14 RSN's in Washington can be found by clicking here.
