A new DOSA field guide has been released that contains information about prison based and community based DOSA.  To be eligible for the residential based DOSA a client must have a midpoint of the standard sentence range of 24 months or less and otherwise be eligible under the DOSA requirements.  There are now beds available for residential DOSA clients in Spokane and King County.  This alternative may not suit every client; however, the Court can order a residential DOSA even over the client’s objection.  The manual outlines the DOC and treatment providers’ processes and requirements and can be accessed by clicking here.
