Join WDA for the second of this two part program on the efforts of the San Francisco Public Defender and the San Francisco community on improving re-entry for persons upon completion of their jail sentences.
The second program will focus on the community-based Reentry Council of the City and County of San Francisco. The Reentry Council was created to coordinate local efforts to support adults exiting the San Francisco County Jail and is made up of stakeholders in the community and former inmates of the jail. Program Coordinator Jessica Flintoft will discuss the history of the council, the work it does and the success it has had with reducing recidivism.
