Understanding and applying the civil rules of discovery in your dependency cases can lead to successful litigation results for your clients. Yvonne Ward will examine the rules and provide a map of how to formulate a discovery plan and successfully execute it.
Yvonne will discuss how to use interrogatories and Requests for Production, Depositions, Inspections, Physical and Mental Health Examinations, Requests for Admissions and how to appropriately object to state requests for discovery.
Yvonne Kinoshita Ward is a Trial Lawyer practicing throughout Washington for 19 years. Her primary areas of practice are civil rights litigation, criminal defense, and claims against the Government. Yvonne is the Past President of the Asian Bar Association of Washington, Past Chair of the Washington Commission on Asian Pacific American Affairs, and 2008 Recipient of the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association Carl J. Maxey Award.
