Please join us for this overview of the recent changes in the law for dependent youths and how you can use it to your client’s benefit. D’Adre Cunningham, Erin Lovell, Shannon Gould and Katie McClellan will look at why RCW 13.34.267 was created, how it interacts with other programs, and what types of benefits and services are available to youth under this new law. They will also explain how to take advantage of the law, how to determine whether your client qualifies for services, and provide tips on talking to your child client about the law and how to help them plan for independence.
This program will take place on February 2, 2012, from 12-1:15pm at the The Defender Association, located at The Central Building, 810 Third Ave., Suite 800, Seattle, WA 98104
