Contract Public Defender - Grant County District Court

CONTRACT PUBLIC DEFENDER
Grant County, Washington, is accepting Statements of Qualifications for a Full Time Indigent Defense Attorney for Grant County District Court

We have an immediate need for a qualified attorney interested in full time, annual and/or longer-term contracting for the provision of Indigent Defense services for misdemeanor and gross misdemeanor case assignments in Grant County District Court.  Grant County offers strong communities, rural living, and multiple benefits of living in Eastern Washington.  Annual contracts are paid on a monthly basis based on case loads and experience. 

Interested parties should send a letter of interest outlining qualifications, a resume, and a signed release of records for applicable state bar associations.  Interested parties will be provided with the terms and conditions of the contract for their consideration.
