Receptionist/Legal Assistant

Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Open and close office 8:30-5:00.
  • Answer incoming calls (multiple lines), determine call purpose and route to employee.
  • Welcome visitors
  • Sort and distribute mail and faxes.
  • Locate clients and create client files.
  • Assist various attorneys with multiple administrative tasks.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Highly organized and very detail oriented.
  • Two plus years experience as a receptionist and/or administrative assistant.
  • Ability to handle multi-tasking and workflow disruptions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Access, Outlook) and the Internet.
  • Professional appearance, style and work ethic.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and out-going personality.
  • Flexible, as roles and responsibilities will evolve.
  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize among assignments; strong adherence to deadlines.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Attendance, punctuality and reliability are critical in this position.

We are seeking for persons locally to work 40 hours a week – Salary range $22,000 - $26,000 depending on experience. Benefits include Medical and Dental coverage.
