Why Should I Join?
WDA is the only independent organization actively engaged in the fight for the constitutionally protected rights of indigent persons accused of crimes. Now more than ever, those who take these protections seriously need to speak as one strong, unified voice.
As a member of WDA you will receive a copy of our publications, a subscription to DefenseNET and Washington Criminal Defense magazine, as well as notification for the free training seminars offered throughout the state. In addition, you can receive copies of all of the resource manuals we have published, including: Beyond the Conviction: Collateral Consequences of a Criminal Conviction in Washington State; Beyond Juvenile Court: Long Term Impacts of Juvenile Adjudication; Immigration and Washington State Criminal Law; Defense of a Drug Case; Adult & Juvenile Sentencing Resources in Washington; Adult & Juvenile Sentencing Practice in Washington; Representing Mentally Ill Clients; and Washington State Criminal Forms. As a member you will be able to access the restricted members-only sections of this site.
