Repeat offenders would be denied bail under measure
Rep. Mike Hope, R-Lake Stevens, is proposing a new law and changes to the state constitution that he hopes will restrict access to bail for certain offenders. These bills would require an amendment to the constitution and would impact three strike offenders and offenders who have been previously pardoned or granted clemency.
